This body of work is fuelled by having grown up in a small welsh village, Horeb, Llandysul, Ceredigion; surrounded by stunning landscapes and scenery my respect for the environment is paramount. Tirions work implores the onlooker to analyse the environment captured and the reflections within it; encouraging them to question their own perception of the environment and their impact and responsibility within it. Thus developing a sense of conscientiousness to preserve and protect the environment as best possible. The photographs encapsulate the environment in a specific moment in time, the reflections may change in time, however it is the conservation of such areas of natural beauty that can preserve the ability to capture such images in the future and rather than taking our environment for granted it magnifies the need for us all to ‘Take a Deeper Look’.
